Responsibilities
-
I belong to the Food & Medical Customer Success Team and mainly work with food service companies in the Kanto area. My main responsibilities include leading kickoff meetings with clients after contracts are signed by the Field Sales Team, conducting meetings to explain how to use and operate Careermap, following up with regular check-ins and additional proposals, and offering renewal plans before the contract period ends. I support clients from the beginning of their usage all the way through to renewal, aiming to secure ongoing partnerships with Careermap after a year.
I work with a wide range of clients, from large corporations like well-known hotels to independently owned businesses like neighborhood patisseries. Depending on the client, I either visit in person or conduct meetings online. -
What’s the Good in Good News?
- One of the great things about our company is the open communication and the close distance between the president and each employee. In addition, the structured onboarding and training program ensures that all employees not only resonate with our vision but also share a consistent level of understanding and alignment. I also appreciate the use of a performance evaluation book, which clearly defines individual goals and growth paths, allowing everyone to steadily step up in their careers.

What Are Your Thoughts on the Company’s Philosophy?
- I joined the company mid-career. In my previous job, I often found myself questioning the work I was doing and couldn’t say I was working with a sense of fulfillment. When I came across Goodnews and learned about its vision, it struck a chord with me. I felt a strong desire to become part of a team working to realize that vision—and, through that, to find a way for myself to work with energy and purpose. I was also deeply drawn to the Careermap service itself and felt that being involved in it would lead to meaningful and exciting work—that is, to working in a truly fulfilling way. The vision of Goodnews was one of the biggest factors that inspired me to make the major life decision of changing jobs.

What Are Your Future Goals and Vision?
-
On a personal level, I aspire to become a manager in the future. I have prior experience in management at my previous job, and I hope to leverage that experience here as well. However, since the environment and expectations are completely different from my previous role, I want to first fulfill my responsibilities as a leader within my current team and strengthen the team's presence within the company.
One of our key goals in the Customer Success team is to improve the retention rate of our partner companies, which is one of our most important performance indicators. Currently, we are facing challenges in consistently achieving this target, so my goal is to help the team reach and exceed this benchmark. To that end, I want to become someone who not only delivers results individually but also supports and uplifts the entire team. -
Hobbies & Current Interests
- Basketball, karaoke, and gaming.

What Was Your Childhood Dream?
- Before I could fully understand things, I was told by my parents that I wanted to become a bear when I grew up. Personally, I think I've at least reached a similar size now… After I started understanding things, my dream was to become a school teacher. Since I started playing basketball in elementary school, I wanted to become a teacher and serve as the basketball club advisor. I also wanted to be a teacher because I enjoyed teaching others.
