Responsibilities

I am responsible for recruitment (mid-career and new graduate hires) and HR management. While I leverage my previous experience in recruitment, managing overall HR and labor administration is a new challenge since joining Good News. I made the career change with the goal of gaining broad experience in HR, and my ultimate aspiration is to become an HRBP in the future

What’s the Good in Good News?

I believe that what makes Good News truly great is how everyone is working towards realizing the vision of 'creating a future where everyone can work vibrantly together,' with the business built upon this principle. It is inspiring how each individual takes ownership and confidently offers their opinions across various areas, acting as a protagonist in their own way.

What Are Your Thoughts on the Company’s Philosophy?

For me, 'working vibrantly' means taking ownership of my work, growing together with my colleagues, and enhancing my sense of purpose. I believe the definition of vibrant work varies for each person, and while I think there is already an environment where everyone can embody their own version of it, I believe it is also the role of HR to create an environment that makes it even easier to do so.

What Are Your Future Goals and Vision?

In the description of my role, I mentioned that I am aiming for an HRBP position. However, at this point, I feel that my skills in business understanding, strategic thinking, and data analysis are still lacking. Therefore, I am not only focused on recruitment but also on acquiring a wide range of HR skills. Since there are many areas in which I have no prior experience, I am currently in the learning phase, but I aim to be able to deliver accurate outputs moving forward.

Hobbies & Current Interests

Camping, golf, playing the guitar, watching YouTube, and more.

What Was Your Childhood Dream?

I still remember when I was in preschool, during the peak of Morning Musume’s popularity, I wrote on my Tanabata wish that I wanted to be a part of the group. I’ve always loved singing and dancing, often repeating these in front of the TV, which sometimes got me into trouble with my parents (laughs). Today, K-POP has taken over, and with dance videos from various groups being shared, I sometimes try to mimic the moves at home… but that's a secret (laughs).
